Ethos Alliance Charter

Our Purpose

Ethos Alliance exists to unite ethical marketers who are committed to client-first excellence, fair collaboration, and mutual growth.

We foster strategic relationships, elevate industry standards, and create a culture where referrals are earned through trust, not obligation.

Our purpose is to empower members to build businesses that thrive through value-based practices.

Best Interests Policy

  • Members must only sell or refer services when it is in the client’s best interest.

  • A potential client should have at least an 80% probability of success with your service, or be made fully aware of the risks if below that threshold.

  • Agencies and providers should actively assess the client’s return on investment (ROI) before proceeding.

  • We operate on a “win-win or walk-away” ethic. Short-term sales at the cost of long-term trust are unacceptable.

Client Satisfaction & Delivery Excellence

  • Services provided by members should result in client satisfaction of 4 out of 5 stars or higher. This protects the reputation of the referrer and maintains the integrity of the network.

  • If issues arise with referred clients, members are expected to respond promptly and professionally to resolve them.

Attendance & Participation

  • Meetings are held fortnightly (every two weeks).

  • Members may miss up to 4 meetings per calendar year, providing 24 hours’ notice. This is in addition to a 4-week break for the Christmas season when meetings are not being held.

  • Substitutions for absences are not required, reflecting our trust-based culture and commitment to meaningful, consistent engagement.

Membership Fees

Membership fees are:

  • $97 + GST/month for 12-months (2-week cancellation notice required), or

  • $970 + GST annually (equivalent to 2 months free, 12-month commitment).

  • Fees contribute to group administration, systems, events, and overall value delivery.

  • All fees are non-refundable once billed.

Breach & Termination

  • Breach of any term in this charter — such as unethical conduct or recurring client dissatisfaction, may result in membership cancellation.

  • In such cases, outstanding fees remain payable, and no refunds will be issued.

  • The Ethos Alliance leadership reserves the right to review and act on breaches at its discretion to preserve the integrity and value of the group.

Good Faith Commitment

All members of the Ethos Alliance are expected to act in good faith, with integrity, transparency, and respect for fellow members. This includes:

  • Speaking constructively about others, both inside and outside the group

  • Avoiding behaviour that undermines trust, reputation, or group cohesion

  • Raising concerns privately, respectfully, and only when necessary

  • This is about cultivating a culture of professionalism and goodwill. Where issues arise, members are trusted to resolve them directly and amicably, without needing formal intervention.

Application Review & Fit

To ensure the integrity and alignment of the Ethos Alliance community, all membership applications are subject to review. We’re committed to maintaining a network of values-driven professionals who contribute positively to the group.

If, during the application process, we determine that there isn’t a strong fit at this time, your application will be respectfully declined and any fees paid will be fully refunded.
